At Last, A Title

We’ve ‘released’ lots of songs in small batches over the past four years and, as we’ve mentioned here before, it seems like a good idea to collect all of these onto one disc to make it easier to ‘own’ and, hopefully, more interesting to listen to.

As ever, when we record, we have a lot of material. What doesn’t end up on the record aren’t necessarily the lesser quality songs. They’re usually just the ones we ran out of time on. The EP format (RIP?) is/was great for wrapping up this kind of thing. Anyway, without commiting nostalgicide here, I’ll just say that we probably won’t ever stop this behavior - it’ll just probably go digital-only.

So, the EP compilation. It’s going to be called ‘Afield Recordings’ and it will have all the non-album EP tracks as well as some new song(s) and live material. The cover is just gorgeous and, hopefully, we’ll get all the details online formally soon.
