One Foot…

Lyric revisions and other projects have persisted in keeping us from recording. Even though it’s all we should - and want to be - doing. In a rare showing, I’ve attempted to write some lyrics myself - quite on accident. Whether theyr’e used or not, we’ll see. Maybe the last time I did that was ‘I Would Love To Give Up’ a long, long time ago. Probably shouldn’t have done.

I have listened over many times to our newest - a song without a title that seems to want to be called ‘Heartsore’. It strikes me as unlike anything else we’ve recorded. I’m not talking about the fact that it has no electronics on it. Melodically, it’s just different somehow and I am so pleased by that.

Anyhow, domesticity beckons and a blog must take a backseat to all that.

Can’t stop listening to that Silversun Pickups album and Cass McCombs…
