Show Recap: 8/8/07

Great crowd at the Independent for the show. Odd bill, yet probably made sense to most. I had never really heard the other band before. They seemed to have that ‘trip-hop’ mindset and, hey, dontcha know the singer wears a ball gown and they’ve got a lamp. From LA, too, I guess.

Our set was a shorter one than usual. Considering we’re in a period of transition, it felt strange to play only one of the new songs (The new material is still too ‘unfinished’ to perform live, so we won’t be playing it out for some time still).

The photos I’ve seen of the show up on Flickr look great. The internets could be the next big thing…
