Transitioning.

Count and I spent tonight in his studio in San Francisco listening through the bulk of the songs and started coming up with the production ideas we’ll pursue over the next couple of months. Now that he’s got the songs on his hard drive, he can take the rudimentary drum ideas I’ve laid down and come up with something more dynamic and interesting to drive the songs along.

We’ve finally booked studio time in August, so between now and then we’ll continue defining what it is these things will be and - save any serendipity or spontaneity in the studio - things should be pretty well organized before we make the trip and sit down in front of any instruments.
